For the presentation I decided to make some Dvd and give them to the lectures. Which I thought would be good.

What was successful?
Well we got the two episodes up and online, so that was a hugh success. It got some good reviews online on the youtube page, so that was another success.
The after effects turned out pretty good so I was happy with that, and learning to use after effects was a success.
Using final cut pro was another success, did some good learning about the program.
Shane was a good success, he was there everyday up and ready to do some acting, without him the show would of never of been done.
In general I was happy in the way the show turned out.
Not successful……
The therapist scene in the first script was not a success as it never happened and a few bits of the second script were left out, but that was only some miner things.
What did I learn…
Well this semester was very eventful and learned new skills that i should have for the rest of the college term.
The biggest think that I learned, is that getting people together in the one place to act, especially when you are not paying them is very changeling. I spend loads of time trying to get people there at a certain date, some people were not able to come at that time, and then I would have to reorganize everything again. VERY STRESSFUL… but we got there in the end.
I also learned a lot about using adobe after effects and used sites such as video copilot and youtube to do the special effects, and like any adobe package it is very time consuming. That 90sec action video took me over 2days to do the effects. But saying that I really want to learn more after effects stuff and try to get good on it, as some of the things you can do is just amazing.
Final Cut Pro is another piece of software that i learned to use while doing the project. When I first started I was using imovie 09 to do my editing-while it is good for basic editing, you have to use professional stuff like FCP to do a good job. Editing the audio on imovie would not of been doable.
I learned how to do hosting online and placing a website up and going.
General stuff on organizing shots while filming, where the cameras should be facing, when to cut a scene and when not. This is very important when you then go on to edit. How now to set up a scene, and use a steady cam, or dolly when using moving shots.
Vincent Success
Well it now the 19th and the vincent episodes are a hit on youtube. With the second episode being the 34th most viewed in youtube ireland this week. Episode 1 is the 95th and the outtakes is the 42nd top favorite and 26th top rated.
Week 11 (16-4-10)
Hi all,
Ahhhh its the final day and what a week we had in college doing this project. Here the amount of hours each day I spent at college.
Monday 1pm-7pm
Tuesday 9am-8.30pm
Wednesday 10am-10.30pm
Thursday 10am-7.30pm
Friday 9am-4pm
Total hours in college this week= 46.5 HOURS and that does not include the work I done at home.
Well this week consisted of finishing off the website and posting it up online and making sure it works on all platforms.
Applying effects to the action scene (which took hours, I mean I spent 2 days at this)
Editing the rest of the scenes and placing them together.
And just doing the finishing touches to the project.
